Homes For Sale at Lake Redstone and Dutch Hollow Lake in La Valle, Wisconsin

Lake Redstone

We consider ourselves very lucky to call La Valle home.  Gorgeous rolling landscapes abundant in wildlife, two pristine lakes, year-round recreational opportunities and friendly neighbors will make you never want to leave.

Whether you’re a fan of watersports and fishing or prefer biking, four-wheeling, and snowmobiling, there’s plenty to do for everyone!

Situated nearly halfway between Chicago and the Twin Cities, the location is ideal for a weekend getaway.  It’s only about a three-hour drive to most northwest Chicago suburbs and so much closer than many other popular destinations!

Lake Redstone

There may be larger lakes in Wisconsin, but few compare to the beauty of Lake Redstone.  The lake itself has many interesting rock formations and a variety of topography and is surrounded by rolling hills, lush farmland, and woodlands.

The lake is man-made and was created just over fifty years ago.  With over six hundred acres of water surface area and over seventeen miles of shoreline, it extends approximately four and a half miles from north to south.  The deepest point is near the south end not far from the dam, where depth can reach thirty-six feet.  There are three public boat landings and a park with a public beach.

There are two basic categories of residential properties on Lake Redstone; waterfront and offshore.  Offshore parcels have deeded access to water via private beach clubs and/or easements.  Water quality and improvements to the lake itself are managed by the Lake Redstone Protection District.  While there are no mandatory association membership requirements or assessments required, being a member of the Lake Redstone Property Owners Association is well worth it!  We have enjoyed many fun events and parties at the clubhouse.

Dutch Hollow Lake

Dutch Hollow Lake is renowned for its crystal-clear water and excellent fishing.  A man-made reservoir built in the early 1970’s, the water surface is approximately two hundred acres and nearly forty feet deep near the dam.  The terrain is very hilly, giving many Dutch Hollow homes stunning views of the water and rural landscape.

There is a mandatory association fee for owners, but very nice amenities such as a clubhouse, pool and campground facilities are available.  The Dutch Hollow Lake Property Owners’ Association maintains about seven hundred acres of “greenway” spaces for the use of residents.  Most are utilized for walking and hiking and some are designated as equestrian and snowmobile trails.

Our Marketing is “OVER THE TOP”!

Would you like your property to be marketed properly, using all the latest tools and technology?  We’ve found that many of the purchasers of lake homes and cabins are often coming from great distances to buy.  It’s necessary to capture their interest on the internet before they make an appointment and first impressions are everything!

In 2016, Paul purchased a drone and obtained a remote UAS pilot’s license from the FAA in order to use it for commercial purposes.  We can now show off your lake home with beautiful aerial photos and videos.  There are not many brokers in our region are using this technology to show off your property in such a dramatic format.

Aerial Drone Photo of Lake Redstone

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then what’s a video like this worth?

Here’s a video we created for a one of our Lake Redstone listings.  We haven’t been doing drone videos very long and our skill at it continues to improve.  Lately, when a buyer inquires about one of our listings, it’s often because they’ve already seen it on YouTube or social media.  It’s very powerful.

We would like to put our skills and talents to work for you.  Call us at (608) 620-4441 to schedule a consultation today!
